Like many moms, my journey began with a simple concern: my children’s skin. I wanted to give them the very best care, but I quickly discovered how confusing and overwhelming skincare could be. That curiosity sparked a deeper passion—not just for safe and gentle products, but for truly understanding how the skin works and which ingredients support it best.

Over the years, that passion grew into a commitment to learning the science of cosmetic chemistry. What started as a personal mission has blossomed into a business where we bring together targeting actives, rich herbal infusions, and ultra-hydrating serums and creams—always crafted with care and always kept affordable.

Formulation is more than just work for us—it’s our craft, our curiosity, and our joy. We love developing innovative products, and we’re constantly continuing our education to bring the latest knowledge and techniques into every formula.

Rooted in the heart of the southern Arizona desert, our business is inspired by both the resilience of our environment and the beauty of nature itself. From humble beginnings to where we are today, our mission remains the same: to help skin look and feel its very best.

 Jennifer, the founder and formulator of Grassland Beauty, founded Grassland Beauty(a different name then) in 2020 with a desire to bring balanced skincare to the consumer that was not only effective, but affordable and supported the skin. Through my experience working with herbs, animal fats, and formulation skills with cosmetic chemistry I am able to create products with all the benefits to provide to my customers. We have a large affinity for learning cosmetic chemistry and formulation. We love using both medicinal herbals and cosmetic chemistry to formulate our products.

I have been working directly with herbs not only in skincare but as medicine for over 5 years, now and am always learning more. I also am passionate about cosmetic chemistry and crafting more complex formulas. I truly love the science behind cosmetics and adhering to safety, efficacy, and evidence-based skincare. We are very by the book in our formulating and behind the scenes facilitation of our products. Living in the Arizona desert with my husband and two children on our homestead I pour my heart and soul into this business. Always mindful of what is going into every product and mindful of the customer on a personal level. I also love to connect with customers one on one and get to know them in a meaningful way.
