Hydrosols

Hydrosols are an important addition to any skincare routine. They contain the steam distillates of the plant material used which includes the natural plant oils and water-soluble constituents of the plants. Hydrosols are versatile and can be used on the face, body and scalp. They are a way to add hydration and herbal benefits directly to the skin.

We suggest pairing a hydrosol with your tallow or oil. Apply the hydrosol on your face first then apply your occlusive while the skin is still damp with the hydrosol.

At Grassland Beauty we utilize herbal remedies combined with nourishing healing plant oils, and grass fed tallow. We also make water based formulations with effective actives suitable for sensitive skin types.
