Hops & Rosemary Shampoo Bar

This bubbly shampoo bar contains Hop Knot IPA Beer, infused with rosemary leaves. This shampoo bar is for normal to dry hair types. We don’t recommend this for fine or greasy hair (we will have another bar for those hair types).This will wash your hair gently without stripping it of its natural oils. This is lightly fragrant of rosemary and beer. Beer is an amazing for hair, it contains natural sugars and hops which can nourish damaged hair. Coconut oil will gently cleanse the hair, and rosemary is beneficial for helping with hair growth and damaged roots. Olive oil is intensely moisturizing and conditioning for hair. This bar is bubbly and creamy. 

This bar should last quite a while depending on how often you wash your hair. Around 60 washes give or take.

If you've never used a cold process shampoo bar before some things to take note of. This is not like a surfactant-based shampoo bar or one you would buy at the store. This isn't going to strip your hair, but it will wash it gently. We strongly recommend doing an apple cider vinegar rinse after using this to wash your hair. To do that is very simple. You can put it in a spray bottle or a large cup to pour over your scalp. We use a 1:4 or 1:5 ratio of apple cider vinegar to water mixture. Personally, we prefer the pour over method. You just take this in your shower with you and wash your hair with shampoo bar, then rinse really well and pour the apple cider vinegar mixture over your head starting at the scalp. Make sure to not get any in your eyes. Then rinse well until washed out. Try to work it through the hair all the way starting at the scalp then working it down to the ends. 

You are not required to do the ACV rinse but be advised there may be a heavy waxy feeling left. The ACV mixture helps balance the ph levels back to normal on the scalp and wash away any soapy residue. If you use the ACV rinse there is no need for a conditioner. If you skip the ACV then we strongly suggest using a good conditioner.

We recommend keeping this on a self draining soap rest to allow the bar to dry out completely in between each use this will help the bar last long.
