The Rose is a widely underestimated herb. It's well known for its high antioxidant content, but it also can be used for many other things. We utilized fresh home-grown Roses and leaves from the Rosa Peace variety which is a beautiful multicolored large rose variety. Very Fragrant and with lots of pink and orange roses. 

Things we personally use rose for:

Immune Support, Mood support, Digestive and liver support, Hormonal support(menstrual cramps), and antioxidant boosts. Rose can act as a nervine in the body encouraging calmness to the mind and anxious feelings. It also can help support good sleep habit's, it works gently with the body to support it during stressful times. Its also been reached for to help with migraines and promoting circulation.

This is available as a alcohol tincture. the Rose flowers and leaves are extracted in a high grain alcohol and water menstruum and left to sit for 6 weeks. This allows for a full bodied extraction of all the consituents.  As always consult your physician before introducing any herbal medicine.

Energetics: Cooling, bitter.

Actions: Nervine, antispasmodic, Astringent, Carmanitive

Directions: Take 1-3 droppers full daily in water or juice, to get the bitter benefits for your digestion mix dropper full with a small bit of juice and hold under tongue for a little while for faster absorption.  This Tincture can be taken safely for longer periods, as always consult your doctor and listen to your body. We recommend taking for two weeks on and two weeks off.

Ingredients: High Grain Alcohol, Filtered Water, Rosa 'Peace' flowers and leaves.

 Size 1 oz & 2 oz in glass dropper bottles

Contraindications: Rose is safe for most people without any known contraindications, if you are taking any iron supplements consult your doctor as rose tannins can inhibit the absorption of iron in the intestinal tract. If you have low iron use with caution.
